The Boyle Campus residential facilities definitely meet the standards as they provide 40 single person rooms facilities which are very well equipped with a mini fridge, satellite television and many more standard amenities.
The Lac la Biche which is the main campus as well provides housing not only for students but families as well. The Campus has a residential hall which is attached to the campus and has self contained rooms which are designed to share by two students. The rooms are very well equipped with a kitchenette with 2 gas stoves, 2 table and chair sets and many more standard required items.
The Residential Hall also has common areas such as microwave and centralised laundry. The townhouse is not very far from the main building and designed to be shared by 4 students having their own individual bedroom. In total there are 66 units of two,three and four bedroom accommodation available at the townhouse.
The Portage College has a total of 7 campuses in Northern Alberta, Canada out of which Lac La Biche is the main campus and the remaining are Boyle Lake campus, Cold Lake Campus, Frog Lake Campus, Saddle Lake Campus and St. Paul Campus.
The Campus is a state of the art facility for its students with small classes to help attain one to one interaction with the students with a good student to faculty ratio of 19:1. The campus is home to Aboriginal people’s arts and artifacts museum. The Campus has it’s very own student association which is Student Association of Portage College (SAPC) which motivates, encourages and empowers students to achieve their education goal. The SAPC is a non-profit organization with a goal that each and every member must get equal and fair opportunity.
Portage College also has its own Hockey team known as the Voyageurs. The team represents its college in Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference which consists of teams across Alberta and Saskatchewan. So, the campus is full of opportunity whether it's art, academics or sports.
