Institut National de Recherche Scientifique (National Institute of Scientific Research) or commonly called THE INSTITUTE is a graduate research constituent university of the Université du Québec system. - The institute operates with four teaching and research centers located in different cities Quebec, Montréal, Laval, and Varennes.

Admission Process
Institut National de Recherche Scientifique is a state of the art university which enrolls more than 600 students each year. The university offers two short programs, undergraduate training, and masters in over 26 doctoral disciplines.INRS is a research university, with research centers in Montreal, Quebec City, Laval, and Varennes. The online form has to be filled in French language only. The university accepts applications for Fall, Summer and Winter terms. Applicants enrolling for a professional program need not choose a research advisor.
- INRS does not provide undergraduate admissions but does provide internships for undergrad students in Natural Science, Engineering, Health Science, or Social Science.
