TU ILMENAU Campus

  • There are a number of students' clubs, organizations, and associations, such as a film, a radio broadcast, an orchestra, an ensemble, and a major band. Different associations include "Wohnzimmer Kultur", which arranges concerts in students' living rooms, and theatre groups.

Applicants can apply for the following scholarships to study in the Germany:

  • The DAAD: It is the largest scholarship provider in Germany for foreign doctoral candidates. With the help of the Ministry of Education and Research, the DAAD supports foreign doctoral candidates studying in Germany.
  • The Germany Scholarship: It gives 300 Euro per month, for at least one year independent of income. The recipients receive in total 3,600 Euro per year. It is given to graduate students.

Admission Process

The Technische University Ilmenau, also known as TU Ilmenau is a german public university offering 19 bachelor programs, 25 master programs, and 2 diploma courses through its five departments. Technische Universität Ilmenau opens applications for summer and winter sessions. All the bachelor, diploma, and master programs offered at TU Ilmenau are in the winter session. However, some master's programs are offered in the summer semester as well.

Technische Universität Ilmenau welcomes applications from all over the world. International students can apply online through the university’s application portal. International students have to demonstrate their German language proficiency as almost every program is taught in the German language.
