An additional cost per semester of approximately 272 EUR is required for re-registration, to get a study ticket. This study ticket will provide the students with the facility of free public transportation in and around the city and some discounts at the shops, malls, cafeterias also.

Language Proficiency Test Score for International Students

For studying at the University of Konstanz, international students must demonstrate proficiency in both German and English language. Visa Process for International Students

Citizens of non-EU countries need a valid study permit to study in Germany for a period of more than 90 days. Students must apply at the German embassy or consulate at least 8 weeks before departure.

The first step is to prove that non-EU students have at least 853 EUR available per month for studying in Germany, which can be easily achieved by opening a blocked bank account.

Most of the programs at the University of Konstanz will be provided both online and on-campus for the winter semester due to the current pandemic.
