Sree Narayana Guru Memorial Teacher Educational College was established under SNGM Educational and Cultural Trust in Alappuzha, Kerala. SNGM Educational and Cultural Trust is a non-profit organization which is formed to live and celebrate the memory of the great sage and social reformer Sree Narayan Guru. The college is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi. NCTE is a Government body in charge of improving and implementing teacher education programs in the country.
