SPU Balaghat Admissions

Admission to the courses in Sardar patel university is either merit based or based on the qualifying scores of entrance exams.

The students would be offered admission to various courses on the following basis -

Engineering programme: marks secured in JEE Mains and the qualifying exam
Management programme: marks secured in CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT ATMA, GATE, GRE, CMAT and the qualifying exam
Ph.D.: Entrance examination and interview conducted by the University level
Other Courses: marks secured in the qualifying examinations

To aid the meritorious/economically weak students, Sardar Patel university conducts a scholarship cum admission test (SPU-SAT) whereby the students can get upto 100% scholarship.

The details of the test are as follows:

The university houses a grand Central library that spreads over an area of 1250 sq. m. the library is fully air conditioned with CCTV surveillance and Fire Alarm. It has a vast collection of Books, Journals and various other resources such as e-books, volumes, CDs\DVDs etc.

The Central Library also provides access to a plethora of national and international e- journals. The facility of a digital library is also available and it uses LIBSYS software for Library automation.
