Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET), Hyderabad was established in 1980 under Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society (SUES). It is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The vision of the college is to be a part of the universal human quest for development and progress by contributing high caliber, ethical, and socially responsible engineers who meet the global challenge of building a modern society in harmony with nature. MJCET is among the Top 5 Engineering colleges in Hyderabad and also tops the list among Minority Engineering Colleges in the State of Telangana. The college is spread over campus with a built-up area of 38,251 sq. mtrs. and located at Banjara Hills which is the most prime location in the city of Hyderabad. The college takes admission in UG and PG Programs in Engineering fields in the qualifying scorecard of entrance exams like JEE (MAINS)/ TSEAMCET.

Laboratories	The college has 91 laboratories in various departments, which are well equipped with modern equipment.
Computer Centre	The computer center consists of 11 servers (Compaq, IBM, and Wipro), 225 computers complemented by some of the latest software like Rational Rose, Macromedia Studio, Linux, etc.
Library	The library spread over an area of 1200 sq.mtrs. and has a reading room with a seating capacity of 168 students - It has a collection of 3185 project reports, 14900 titles, 5129 reference and 54128 volumes of books It subscribes to 125 printed journals and magazines The Library has purchased E-Lectures, 135 video lectures, 1925 books, and journal CD ROMS and 120 web courses from NPTEL, IIT Madras It provides access to the Digital Library having 25 IBM workstations
