JRRSU is a public state university, approved by UGC. JRRSU has more than 60 affiliated colleges offering 93 courses in the field of Education, Arts, Sanskrit, and Science at UG, PG, and Doctorate levels. Admission to various UG and PG courses at JRSSU is granted on the basis of merit scores achieved by the students in the previous qualifying examinations. However, for admissions in JRRSU B.Ed. and M.Ed. the candidates are required to qualify PSST and PSAT respectively with valid scores.

JRRSU offers scholarships to the students so that they can continue their studies without facing any financial hurdles in their ways. The scholarships are offered to the SC/ST category students. Besides this there are also research scholarships available for disabled students and research scholars.

JRRSU conducts placement programs every year, the highest placement package offered to one of the JRRSU students is 8.40 LPA whereas the average package is 6 LPA. However there are average internship opportunities offered to the students.

Established by Govt. of Rajasthan for the purpose of promoting Sanskrit education, JRRSU is one of the renowned universities in India. JRRSU campus is sprawling over an area of 78.85 hectares. The university was set up by the Government of Rajasthan under Rajasthan Sanskrit University Act 1998.

JRRSU Facilities

Library: JRRSU has a well-maintained stock of 43,000 books, 283 audio-video CDs, and many other magazines. JRRSU has also an E-library facility through which books are provided to the students and staff.

Computer Lab: JRRSU has a well-equipped facility of computer laboratory where students can study the PGDCA course at a very reasonable rate of INR 6000. The computer lab has the facility of wifi facility as well.
