Government Polytechnic Koratla was founded in the year of 2008 and the college is situated near NH63 towards the Jagital Road which is very close to D40 canal. The college offers two diploma courses in the Engineering arena. The college aims to impart quality education by meeting the requirement of industry and society to achieve excellence in teaching for shaping the professionals. The college believes in reinforcing the educational performance of the students along with the extra- curricular activities to build the overall character of the students in a stronger way. Government Polytechnic Koratla Admission

At Government Polytechnic Koratla, the mode of application is online through TS POLYCET. This TS POLYCET is a common entrance test conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana.

The Eligibility criteria that each candidate need to ensure before appearing in TS POLYCET are as follows:

Candidate should be a citizen of India.
Candidate should belong to the state of Telangana as mentioned in the G.O (P) no 646 education department in subsequent amendment.
Candidate should have passed S.S.C or any other examination recognised and equivalent by Board of Secondary Education of the state of Telangana.
Candidate should have scored at least 35% in the maths, physics, and chemistry subjects from any recognised board equal to S.S.C by Telangana.
Candidate who has appeared or appearing for SSC or equivalent examination to be held in March /April 2020, and if the exams results are yet not declared, then all of these candidates can apply for the entrance.

Application Steps

Fill High school hall ticket number, DOB, and year of passing.
Now fill other details carefully without any mistake.
Enter the area code to which the candidates belong to in the state of Telangana.
Enter the reservation category if applicable.
Enter special category, if any (CAP/ NCC/ SP / PH)
Fill minority details as applicable.
If willing, the candidates can choose to appear in Urdu language also.
Sign the declaration of the physical fitness to appear the Polytechnic Course.
Pay the application fee of INR 400 if belong to general category and INR 250 for SC/ ST categories.
Submit the application after preview.

It has a seating capacity to hold 100 members at a time and is enabled with multimedia personal computers and high-speed internet access. The operating hours ranges from 8:30 am to 10:30 am and from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Hostel- The College offers in-campus well hygienic hostel facility for all the boys who want to avail the accommodation at the college while getting admission.
Seminar Hall and Auditorium- The institution is facilitating auditorium and seminar hall in order to hold variety of programs, practice, events, and performances.
