AIT Kolkata Admission

Candidates seeking admission in B. Tech must have passed 10+2 with 45% marks in PCM from any recognized board and diploma in Engineering & Technology are eligible for direct lateral entry in B. Tech. course. Candidates seeking admission into M.Tech. must be holding a allied UG degree in Engineering & Technology from any recognized University or Institute.

Candidates having a valid score in WBJEE/ JEE Mains are selected for admission in B. Tech. The selection of the candidates in M.Tech. are done on the basis of valid scores in GATE followed by a PI.

Candidates appearing for WBJEE/ JEE Mains entrance exam must register online at the official website.
The application process is conducted offline only.

Library- A central library with a good seating facility is present inside the campus. It has a good volume of books, both National and International journals, and magazines, etc. to cater the academic needs of students as well as the faculty.
Accommodation- The college provides a separate hostel facility for both girls and boys which can accommodate 138 boys and 45 girls at a time. Hostels have common rooms, games rooms, and courts for different sports around the hostel premises.
Sports space- The institution has sports spaces for games such as football, basketball, lawn tennis, badminton, volleyball, and cricket. The college has a gymnasium and a yoga centre too as an addon.
Canteen- The canteen has a college where different kinds of food items are available. Canteen provides the students with tea, coffee, biscuits, bananas, bread-butter, paratha, and cold drinks, Biryani, fried-rice, and chilly-chicken etc. Also, it is furnished with sufficient chairs and tables.
