VMOU offers admission to B.Ed, BA, MA, M.Sc, MBA, PhD, and Diploma courses. VMOU Admission is based on merit and entrance exams. Admission to BA, MA, M.Sc, and Diploma courses is based on merit. Meanwhile, admission to B.Ed, MBA, and PhD courses is based on entrance exams conducted by the university.

VMOU Scholarship 2025
Students belonging to reserved categories such as scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and physically challenged students are offered scholarships issued by the Social Welfare Department. Students are provided a refund of their course fees.
For the scholarships, students have to apply online @rajpms.nic.in. Students are advised to approach the Social Welfare Directors or Social Welfare Officers of their state for reimbursement of the fee. Candidates must send the filled scholarship form in person through the referral of the concerned Regional Centre.

Ques. When are the exams held at VMOU?
Ans. VMOU conducts examinations twice a year in the months of June and December. The details of examinations such as exam admit card, exam timetable, practical classes, and practical exam details will be available on the website (vmou.ac.in/notice/exams).
Ques. How can students access the study material from VMOU?
Ans. VMOU’s Course Material Production and Delivery Department will deliver the course material to the address provided by the student in the application form. In addition, the digital study material for the majority of the courses is available on the university website @vmou.ac.in/slm.
Ques. Is it necessary to appear or pass the examination to take admission in the next year at VMOU?
Ans. As per the rules of VMOU, it is not mandatory for any student to pass or appear in the examination to get promoted or to get admission in the next year of the same course. Students only have to complete the minimum prescribed period of one year for the respective course.
