Ans.  The eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) at VESIT Mumbai are:

1. The Candidate should be an Indian National.

2.  Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as Compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies, and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in Case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above Subject taken together and The Candidate should have appeared in all the Subjects in MHT-CET 2023 and should obtain non zero scores in MHT-CET 2023.

Ans. VESIT Mumbai gives Notification /Advertisement in Newspapers (Times of India and Sindhi newspaper) as well on the college website for vacant seats. Candidates have to apply/register online on the college website for vacant seats (Against CAP vacant seats/ACAP seats) as per the schedule mentioned in the newspaper. Details related to documents required/fee structure/admission procedure/counselling date etc. will be provided on the college website or for more details refer to the college brochure.

Ans. To be eligible for Sindhi minority quota, the candidate should have Sindhi as his/her mother tongue from the State of Maharashtra and should belong to Type A candidature and as notified by the Government are eligible under this Category and should have registered as sindhi minority candidate while filling an online registration/application form on https://cetcell.mahacet.org/.

Ans. In addition to the documents mentioned in the DTE brochure or required at the time of registration for document verification on the website https://cetcell.mahacet.org/. The following documents are also required to be submitted at the time of admission at VESIT Mumbai:

• proforma-O
• Sindhi Minority Affidavit (on INR 100/- stamp paper notarized, format will be available on the college website).
• Community Letter stating that the candidate belongs to Sindhi Minority.

Ans. VESIT Mumbai Minority Quota Seats: - The stages of computerized allotment are as follows-

• Stage–I: The seats under minority quota in the minority institution linguistic or religious) shall be allotted to the respective minority candidates.
• Stage–II: If the seats remain vacant, they shall be allotted to the Maharashtra State candidature Candidates.
• Stage–III: Further, if the seats remain vacant, they shall be allotted to the All India candidature Candidates.
