NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre was established in 1990. The college is affiliated to Maharastra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Medical Science

The college is formed under the aegis of Vidya Shikshan Prasarak Mandal

The college started with 100 MBBS students. Now the college enrolled 150 students annually
The hospital has 910 general and superspeciality beds 58 Critical care beds -ICCU,ICU, SICU, Post Operative ICU, NICU, PICU, OBST- ICURound the clock emergency services with disaster room, emergency theatre and 7 beds in dialysis Unit and 14 fully equipped modern operation theatre
The college facilitates spacious lecture halls with modern teaching gadgets, well equipped laboratories for hands-on training,genetic Lab & Research Lab for inculcating research-orientation in students and largest auditorium of the city
