NIIT University Admission

NU Admissions Interaction Process (AIP) is now being conducted online. This process involves communicating with the applicant and their parents about the University's programs and positioning, as well as helping NU understand the applicants’ aspirations better. Owing to COVID, this interaction procedure has been made entirely online, allowing students and their parents to secure admission from the safety and security of their own homes.

Step 1: Download the Admission application form either from the website or obtain it from any of the designated Admissions Offices of NU. The Application Fee can be paid online or by cheque/ demand draft in favor of NIIT University, payable at Gurugram.
Step 2: Submit the duly completed Admission application form online or via post along with all the required documents.
Step 3: Schedule the NU-AIP online by selecting the NU-AIP location closest to you and the time slot most convenient for you. In case you need assistance to schedule the NU-AIP, the relevant Admissions office can be contacted.

Note: In case of Applicants who have valid JEE Main/ BITSAT/ SAT/ NEET/ Any State Engineering Entrance Examination Rank/Score, the better of the two scores (second being NUAT) will be considered. For Management applicants, NUAT scores will be considered.

Step 4: On receipt of The Offer for Admission, Selected candidates should submit the Acceptance Letter duly signed by them and their parent/guardian within 5 working days of receiving the Admission Offer letter along with a non-refundable acceptance fee of INR 15,000
Step 5: A Final Admission Offer is made via email to the offer accepted students after intimation of the Class XII results within 5 days of receipt by NU Admissions.

NIIT University Scholarships

To encourage and support meritorious Applicants, NU has a very distinctive scholarship Programme called the ‘NU Scholar Search Programme’. Under this Programme, an Applicant may qualify for a scholarship up to a full waiver on the University Tuition Fee. Merit Scholarship is awarded on the basis of:

NIIT Scholarship 2024

NIIT recently announced various scholarships for the meritorious students who want to persue their degrees from the university. In order to motivate students to excel in their academics, NIIT has announced scholarships for upto INR 2 lakhs for the academic year 2023-24.

These scholarships are available for BBA, MBA, and BTech programmes in CSE (Computer Science and Engineering), ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering), DS (Data Science), CyS (Cyber Security), BT (Biotechnology) and Integrated MSc (Computer Science). The selection criteria for the scholarships will be based on a student’s performance in class XII and national-level examinations. In addition to this, the university has announced special scholarships for the exceptional students who will be awarded full- fee waivers on the above mentioned courses. The annual scholarship will range between Rs 50,000 to Rs 2,00,000, which will be offered on the tuition fee only, and candidates will be chosen on the basis of their merit

Another Scholarship scheme named ‘CoX’ is for students who perform exceptionally well in various extra- curricular activities like dance, theatre, sports, fine arts etc.

NIIT University Facilities

NIIT University ensures students are the recipients of world-class education and a very memorable campus life by offering several provisions and facilities to them on campus. Some of these are as follows:

Labs: The state-of-the-art labs and classrooms allow for an enriching educational experience
IT Facilities: The IT facilities of the campus include Wi-Fi services, 300+ computers, automated, paperless check-in and check-out from campus, dual IP cameras in classrooms, customized state-of-the-art, cloud-based Learning Management System and Assessment Management System.
Central Library: The students can visit the library which is well stocked with a good collection of text and reference books, e-journals, and journals to provide students with information and knowledge. The library features a nice hall room that is well ventilated.
Hostel: Accommodation is provided to male and female students with all necessary facilities such as water supply, mess, a recreation room; 24/7 ambulance availability, sports facility, fitness center, and medical assistance to assuring the comfort of students. All rooms are furnished with the required furniture and with Geothermal Coupling Cooling. The coffee/tea/soup vending machines are provided in hostels. Fooding for the students are also available.
Sports: The campus features outdoor sports facilities such as Athletics, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Tennis, and Volleyball. Indoor sports facilities include Badminton, Chess, Carrom, Multigym, Pool, Table Tennis. The well-trained coaches are a part of the institute faculty to guide, motivate and inspire the students. The hostel area is laid out with tennis and basketball courts and cozy nooks fitted with carom and chess boards.
Health Care: The Health Centre on the campus and Health care professionals are employed in the institute to provide medical assistance.

NIIT University Faculty

The NIIT University houses a highly accomplished and qualified faculty of 61 members, out of which 42 hold Ph.Ds in their respective disciplines. The bachelors’ degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education, after completing higher secondary schooling under the 10+2 system or equivalent.
