Animal House: It is equipped with the facility of the International Standards of Animal Experimental Laboratories. VPCI is registered under the Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA).
The lecture hall: PCI has a lecture hall that is used for instructions, teaching, and seminars. It is used for group works and other contemporary educational activities. The lecture hall has audio-visual equipment, microphone, and loudspeakers to help the lecturer be heard, and projection screens to be used for large displays.
The Medical Photography unit: The college has a Medical Photography unit that aims to centralize documentation and multimedia resources The unit comprises a Digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera, an electronic flash unit, and supplementary lenses.

Ans. The hostel is a 3-storeyed building consisting of 30 rooms, 10 rooms on each floor for boys and girls studying D.M., M.D., DTCD, and Ph.D. courses in the Institute. The rooms are fully furnished and facilities of a common room (for visitors, reading and watching TV. etc.). There is a well equipped Mess with a dining room and kitchen having all modern facilities. The rooms are allotted to the students of VPCI on a first cum first serve basis.

Ans. Yes, the clinical wing of the Institute is the Viswanathan Chest Hospital, formerly called the Clinical Research Center. It provides facilities for patient care (outpatient, indoor, emergency and intensive care), and teaching and training of postgraduates in Pulmonary Medicine.
