Admissions to AG Patil Institute of Polytechnic is purely based on merit obtained in the matriculation examination (10th Standard) and there is no need of securing any ranking in the entrance exams. Both 10th and 10+2 marks are considered for the admission process of normal and lateral entry diplomas respectively. The admission to all the courses is held strictly as per the norms laid down by the Government of Maharashtra and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Mumbai.

Admissions to AG Patil Polytechnic institute are conducted in offline mode only.

Application Procedure

The candidates can download the application form from the official website of the college at http://agppi.edu.in/ under the “admissions” tab or may procure it directly from the college premises.
Candidates may also refer to the sample admission form available for download from the official website for clarification of any queries relating to filling up the application form.
Candidates need to carefully fill their personal and educational details and attach the necessary documents.
Candidates need to mark their preferences amongst the available streams in the application form. Streams are strictly allotted according to the preference filled in by the candidate and are irrevocable.
An application fee of INR 400 is to be deposited along with the application form for candidates belonging to the general category or states outside Maharashtra. For Maharashtra domicile candidates and reserved category candidates, the application fee is INR 300.

The college boasts of a modern infrastructure with state of the art infrastructural facilities. It is spread over a vast expanse of 15 acres of land and is adorned with the following nifty amenities:

Library- The college has a library endowed with the books, periodicals, and journals to nurture the academic fervour of all its students. The library is constantly updated to keep students well-informed and be future ready. The central library has a plethora of technical books, journals, and reference volumes, etc. The library is divided into various rooms for reading, researching, and using multimedia facilities. Circulation of books is done through the barcode system using the Delnet software. Students have free access to over 15,000 books and encyclopaedias.
Hostel- The institution has separate hostels for male and female students with spacious and well-ventilated rooms. The hostels can accommodate over 400 students. Hostels are even provided by generator power backup and 24*7 water supply including the solar water heating systems.
Labs- The institution laboratories are equipped with modern facilities and a perpetual importance is given to research and innovation. Every department has its own laboratory.
