Symbiosis Centre for Health Skills Courses

The Symbiosis Centre for Health Skills offers a full-time and 12-months duration UGC approved Post Graduate Diploma and 1-month Certification courses in various sought after disciplines, details for which are given below. Also, the curriculum adopted by the institute for its PGDEMS program is recognized by the Los Angeles Paramedic Training Institute and the USA based Department of Transportation.

And students are provided 10 months of dedicated weekend training (Saturday @ 8 hours, including theory & Practical) along with 2 months of supervised hospital rotation in major Institutional and Hospitals of the city for practical exposure to different departments like emergency room, ICU, CCU, PICU & NICU, cardiac ambulance calls and various other prehospital skills. Apart from this, soft skills training is arranged by SCHS from time to time.

Modern Lecture Halls: With the objective to provide engaging lectures to students and teach even the most complex topics in the easiest possible way using the latest technologies, SCHS has established spacious and smart classrooms on its campus. Also, all the classrooms are well-equipped with amenities such as projector and audio-video systems along with internet connectivity.

Auditorium: The institute regularly conducts events like guest lectures, industry-interaction sessions, seminars, conferences, workshops and outreach programs to ensure much needed practical exposure for its students. Because it strongly believes that irrespective of program and passion area, hands-on experience is must for youths to convert their dreams into reality.

Hence to ensure events it organizes take place seamlessly, a full-fledged Auditorium has been developed by the institute on its campus. Also, at a time, 150 people can sit here and all kinds of facilities ranging from public speaking systems, projectors, internet connectivity and audio-video systems etc. are available here.

Library: The SCHS also has a splendid and aesthetically developed Library on campus and this space acts as a knowledge center for inculcating reading habits in students and helping students and teachers in their project and research work by providing additional learning sources. And this library is a home of a very rich collection of 4257 books, Project reports and Dissertation, 28 Periodicals, 1032 CDs & DVDs, national and international reputed journals, research papers, magazines, newspapers and other required materials. In addition to this, Reading Services, Online Database Services, Reference Services and Home Lending Services along with wifi facility and Scanner, Barcode Printer and KOHA Library Software are available here.

Canteen: SCHS also treats all students and staff members equally, that's why an amazing and big canteen has been established on campus, wherein everyone including students, teaching and non-teaching staff can avail fresh, good quality and delicious food items and snacks at an affordable price.

Computer Center: A sophisticated, new gen and technology enabled Computer Lab has been set up in the college premise and the latest computer systems are installed here with all kinds of required software. Also, all computer systems are connected with each other through high-speed internet connectivity and both teachers as well as students use this space to conduct online research and learn new things on the internet.
