Admission to all the diploma courses offered by the institution is done merit-based wherein the marks secured in the 10th exam result will be considered. Lateral entry is also available for those who have completed 10+2 exam. A Merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in 10th or 12th exams.

The college has a large campus spread across 15 acres. Several facilities are available for students as indicated below.

Library- Students have access to a large library located on campus that houses more than 30,000 books. All reference books required for courses, as well as student reports and some CDs can be found here. Del-net facilities provide access to thousands of e-books.
Auditorium- A 3000 sq. ft. auditorium on campus is used by students for various purposes, such as functions, seminar, and workshops etc. An open-air theatre is also available for conducting many events.
Sports space- The college has a great emphasis on sports. The vast playground has a 200mt track field, and can be used to practice football, kho-kho, hockey, hand ball and cricket. Separate courts are marked for volleyball, badminton, basketball, kabaddi, and tennis. Equipment for indoor sports, such as chess, carrom and table tennis is also available.
Canteen- 2 canteens are present on campus, one each for girls and boys. The canteens serve students with healthy and hygienically prepared food.
Computer labs- The college has five computer centres, as well as a centre for Automation and drafting with sophisticated software.
