About TTAADC Polytechnic Institute

TTAADC Polytechnic Institute was established in 2016 and is the leading Government College located in Khumulwng. The institute offers a wide range of academic courses and programmes approved by AICTE. The college is affiliated to Tripura University, Agartala and is recognized for its spectacular academic standards.

The institute consists of four core departments which includes Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Science and Humanities. It is dedicated to empower the local youths and the state in technical areas and has also been enlisted to be a local hub to run Technical Courses under Skill Development Programmes.

TTAADC Polytechnic Institute Admission

Admission in TTAADC Polytechnic Institute to various diploma engineering courses take place via a common counselling process held by the Central Selection Committee constituted by Department of Higher Education, Government. of Tripura for all Govt. Polytechnics of the state. Candidates also have to appear for Diploma Engineering Entrance Exam of Tripura (DEEET).

How to Apply?

Candidates have to apply through online mode by submitting the Online Application Form by accessing Diploma Engineering Entrance Examination of Tripura website https://deeet.tripura.gov.in/.
The candidates are required to first register themselves and then after reviewing submit their fully filled application form.
They are also required to pay an application fee of INR 350(INR 250 for reserved category students).
Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.
Duplicate application may cause the rejection of the candidature.

TTAADC Polytechnic Institute Scholarship

Students who are needy and meritorious are awarded scholarships by the college and government. A specialised committee looks after to regulate scholarship related procedures.

Students from different communities, categories and Lower Income Group are availing scholarships under Post-matric Scholarship programmes of Central and State and North-East Council (NEC).
All eligible students are availing the benefits of various scholarship schemes as introduced by the Government.

Subject: Mathematics, Physical Science/Science and English.
Total marks: 400 containing 4 marks for each MCQ.
Section in question paper: Section-I (Mathematics), Section-II (Physical Science/Science) and Section-III (English).
Marks for individual section: 160 marks for Section-I, 160 marks for Section-II (80 marks for Physics and 80 marks for Chemistry) and 80 marks for Section-III.
Time/duration: 2 hours (“Compensatory time” of 20 min per hour will be allowed to PH candidate)
Medium of question paper: English and Bengali both.
Question set: 03 (three) set of questions namely A, B and C
Negative marking: 1 mark for each wrong answer
