Kazakh National Medical University Admissions

Kazakh National Medical University admission is a 4-step and hectic process. Hence, we have made it simple and described it here in detail.

Step 1: Documents Submission

If you're applying to KazNMU, you will need to go through one of the approved companies listed on their website. Submit the following documents between July and September 2025, through the company’s representative.

• An application form
• A copy of your passport (it should be valid for at least 2 years after you enter Kazakhstan). If you don’t have a passport, you can submit your ID.
• A copy of your education certificate with a transcript (make sure it’s apostilled).
• NEET certificate (for Indian students).
• An English proficiency certificate (if you have one).

Note: Make sure all documents are in PDF format and of high quality. If anything is missing, your application won’t be processed, and the committee may ask for extra documents if needed.

Step 2: Interview

Once the admission committee reviews your documents, you will receive an electronic letter inviting you for an interview, which may be online. You can check the letter using the "Unique Code" on the portal: [https://kaznmu.isirius.kz/].

The admission process for foreign students at KazNMU is based on the interview where you will have the chance to share your education, life experiences, and views. The interviews will be held from July to September 2025 as well. You can find the schedule on the university's website or through the companies working with them.

To attend the interview, you will need to present an identity document (preferably a passport). You will need a minimum score of 60 out of 100 to pass. During the interview, you might be asked questions like:

• How do you think medicine will evolve?
• What qualities make a good doctor?
• What led you to choose this profession?
• What’s your perspective on life, death, and illness?

Step 3: Selection

After the interview, a competitive selection takes place according to the admission plan. The selection committee will inform the representatives of the companies about the results on the same day.

Step 4: University Enrollment

The admission order for foreign students at KazNMU is based on selection results and the submission of original documents by company representatives to the admission committee. Here is the list of documents you need to enroll to KazNMU:

• Application and questionnaire
• Passport (with notarized translation in Kazakh/Russian)
• Education document (original with apostille and transcript)
• Notarized translations of documents into Kazakh/Russian
• NEET certificate (for Indian citizens)
• English language proficiency certificate (if available)
• Medical certificate (Form 075/U) after medical examination in Kazakhstan
• Preventive vaccination card
• Medical certificate confirming absence of diseases preventing training
• Document confirming no criminal record
• Bank account statement to confirm financial solvency

Note: After selection, the university issues an invitation and visa upon enrollment.
