Scholarships

The offered scholarship to international students are limited in number and cover either the full tuition-fee or a part of it. After receiving the scholarship in the first year, the students have pass in at least 75% of the subjects in their course to continue getting the scholarship in the following years.

In addition to above, the students can also avail scholarships from Swedish Institute and other external organizations.

Admission Process

Linkoping University, one of the largest universities to study in Sweden, is home to around 32000 students out of which 2400 are international. Students can choose from around 120 UG and PG courses offered by Linkoping University in the field of Arts, Humanities, Management, Economics, Engineering, and Computer Science, Medicine, Health science, Natural Science, and Education.The University also offers 28 international programs taught entirely in English.

Candidates have to go through a selective admission policy based on entrance exam scores, past academic record and along with an IELTS score of 6.5. Some points to be considered before applying to the Linkoping University are as follows:

Visa Process for International Students

Applicants may need a Swedish residency permit for studying more than 3 months in Sweden. Students are advised to apply well in advance to ensure that request is processed in due course. As soon as applicants are admitted to the University, they must begin to arrange the paperwork to ensure that all are in order on time to arrive.

  1. Pay the first installment of their tuition fees to process the application.
  2. Apply online via Swedish Migration Agency’s website(applications take 3 months to process)
  3. Applicants are called for an interview at the Swedish embassy.
  4. Documents required to be carried at the time of interview:
