Residence Permit and Accommodation Facility

  • It is mandatory for all the students to obtain a residence permit to study in Sweden. They should apply for it as soon as they pay the tuition fee for their admitted programs.
  • The university offers student accommodation to its eligible fee paying students and tuition fee waiver students. Th students have to apply for it using Mobility Online Tool. The student should either be a master’s or an exchange student while applying for that. Housing facility is available for the first year students only, others need to find their own accommodation.

Scholarships

There is an opportunity of tuition fee waiver for its meritorious students by offering scholarships to them. These scholarships are offered by the Swedish Institute, Sodertorn University itself and other international foundations and organizations. Many of the scholarships granted by the Swedish Institute not only cover the tuition cost but also the living expenses and the travel cost to Sweden. The scholarships that are awarded by the university itself are up to 50% of the tuition fee.
