Linnaeus University Campus

  • Linnaeus University has two main campuses. They are located in the city of Växjö, and of Kalmar.
  • The campuses are renowned for their natural beauty. Växjö has the title of ‘the greenest city in Europe’, due to the amount of area covered by forests and lakes. Whereas, Kalmar is at the shore of the Baltic Sea and has a distinctive old city ambiance.

Admission Process

Linnaeus University is located in Sweden. It is a modern international student that has opened its gates for all the students around the globe. The Linnaeus University was founded back in 2010, it has enrolled about 33,000 students and 2,000 international students. In terms of the number of students, the university is the 6th largest university in Sweden. On the first-cycle level, the university offers 100-degree programs and on second-cycle level 80 programs are being offered. It is one of the best places to study in Sweden.

For autumn 2018 overall, 1132 students were admitted to Linnaeus University whereas, in autumn 2022, the number of students reached 1,583 thereby resulting in a 40 percent increase for international master’s programs. Student Visa Process for International Students

Students should apply for visa 6 months prior to their travel. A visa application fee of 60 euros needs to be submitted with the online application form.

Ans: No, Linnaeus University does not offer any MBA courses.

Ques: What does it mean by conditionally admitted?

Ans: As a fee-paying student, conditional admission is given to the student until he has paid the tuition fees. This means that students are not allowed to register or enroll in the program until he has paid the tuition fees.

Ques: Will I be receiving any confirmation that my fees have been paid so that I can prove this in order to obtain a visa?

Ans: Once you have paid the tuition fee, the computer system will automatically send a notification to the Swedish Migration Board.
