Visa process for international students

International students who wish to study in the USA need to apply for a student visa. Usually, after accepting applications, universities issue an i-20 form required to obtain a student visa. To generate an i-20 form from Lawrence University, the following documents are required:

  • Official financial records (within the last six months) showing proof of adequate funds. A financial statement can be in the form of bank statements, retirement plans (e.g., an IRA) or salary slips of sponsors.
