Graduate housing rates range from 1,425 USD to 1,685 USD per month (1.13 lakhs INR to 1.34 lakhs INR).

However, graduate housing options are limited at UC Berkeley. Hence the majority of grad students live in off-campus rental housing in Berkeley or one of the surrounding communities. The average rent for a 1-bedroom apartment in Berkely, CA is currently around 2,250 USD or 1.79 lakhs INR.

Note: Candidates applying for MFE program are required to demonstrate proficiency in Computer programming language (C++ and Python) and understanding of computational and management tools. They also need to have a quantitative background including linear algebra, multivariate calculus, differential equations, numerical analysis, and advanced statistics and probability.
