Lynn University Campus and Accommodations

The campus area is surrounded by beaches, entertainment, and booming businesses providing various internships and jobs making it suitable for student life. There are 30 student clubs and five Greek groups. Lynn athletes are called ‘Fighting Knights’. In sports, Lynn holds impressive rankings and has received several accolades. Lynn University Scholarships

Lynn University provides financial aid to its international students through merit-based scholarships. These scholarships are provided to all academic majors except conservatory of music and social entrepreneurship majors.   • Presidential scholarship: This scholarship grant covers full tuition and room & board. It is available to undergraduate students. The presidential scholarship grant is based on intellectual curiosity, commitment to community services, and the academic excellence of students. It is renewed every year when students maintain a 3.0 CGPA. ACT/SAT scores are also considered at the time of the evaluation process.
  • Lynn merit scholarship: The scholarship amount ranges from 7,000 to 18,000 USD. It is available to freshmen students of every major. They must be full-time students. A minimum high school GPA of 2.0 and a minimum of 920 SAT scores are required to be eligible for this scholarship. It is renewed when students maintain a 2.0 GPA in an academic year.

Work-study programs: International students can work in an on-campus department. A maximum of 20 hours of work per week is allowed during the study semester. More than 20 hours of work per week is allowed during vacations. The job may or may not be related to the student’s field of study.

Two types of employment are allowed off-campus, namely, CPT and OPT. Curriculum Practical Training is related to the student’s academic program. Optional Practical Training is a 12 monthly program available to international students during or after their studies. A minimum of 21 hours of work is required per week. Work is related to the student’s academic major.

Admission Process

Lynn University is a private institute with an average admission of nearly 3,000 students.
