With over 150 organizations, the campus offers a plethora of opportunities to its students to meet and engage with their fellow peers. A limited number of international scholarships are available at USI for highly qualified degree-seeking students on a competitive basis. In addition to the admissions application, interested candidates should fill out an additional scholarship application. These awards are mostly intended for entering freshmen.

  • International Merit Scholarships, which include Intensive English, vary from $500 to $3,000 each year and are renewable for the duration of the academic program.
  • Global Leader Scholarships are worth about $10,656 each school year in instate tuition waivers.

Admission to the University of Southern Indiana is available during the summer, fall, and spring academic terms. Visa Process for International Students

International Applicants can apply for a student’s visa to study in the United States right after an application is issued. Students whose application has been approved will be issued the I-20 form and need to pay a mandatory SEVIS I-901 fee of USD 350, this is separate from the application or the administration fee. Then applicants can schedule an interview with the US Embassy for the Visa process.
