University Mary Washington has an acceptance rate of around 70-80% every year. It offers UG as well as PG courses to the students seeking to study in the USA through its three faculties namely, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business, and College of Education. UMW opens for admission during the fall, spring and summer sessions and accepts applications on a rolling and space-available basis. The candidates whose native language is not English and have had a major amount of education in a non-English medium need to provide proof of their English proficiency through tests accepted by UMW. The minimum required scores by the University are:
Visa Process for International Students
International Students can apply for a US student VISA after the University issues an application letter. Post receiving the acceptance letter from the University, to apply for the VISA, candidates need to have a Certificate of Eligibility I-20 form which is usually issued by the Department of Homeland Security.
