  • Official high school transcripts and certificates need to be submitted in an envelope sealed by the issuing institution or local ministry of education/ school.
  • All documents issued in a foreign language must be accompanied by a certified literal and complete English translation.
  • A third-party evaluation of foreign credentials will not be accepted. A WES evaluation report will be accepted if the report includes a copy of the official foreign credential. The university will still perform its own evaluation of the credential.

Visa Process for International Students

All the international students who wish to study at the University of Northern Colorado must have a student visa to get admission to the university. No student will be admitted to the university without a valid visa. The following are the steps to obtain a valid student visa to study in the USA once your application gets accepted. Students who will get accepted will be provided I-20 forms from the university.

Pay SEVIS I-901 Fee- Once the students are accepted by the university, they will be provided I-20 form which will contain SEVIS number. For this number, students will be required to submit the SEVIS I-901 fee before scheduling the visa interview. Students are required to bring the fee receipt with them at the time of the visa interview.

Schedule Visa Interview- Once the fee is paid, students will have to schedule an interview for the visa process.

Attend Interview- Once, the interview is scheduled, attend the interview with all the required documents.
