LIU Post undergraduate admissions

LIU Post welcomes fresh admission applications for undergraduate programs for international students in the fields of Accounting, Art, Artificial Intelligence, Biology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, English, Journalism, Health Science, Mathematics, Nursing, Psychology, Political Science, etc. to mention a few. Fresh admissions are accepted on a rolling basis, which means, candidates can apply for the program until the beginning of the semester. However, some programs do have strict deadlines. Candidates must hold qualified high school/ university education with a minimum aggregate from a recognized university to be eligible for the program.

Admission requirements

• Fill the online application form
• Submit high school transcripts with copies for review.
• Upon being accepted the candidates must submit official transcripts in a sealed envelope to the university.
• The documents must be accompanied by its English translation if in any other language other than English. Course-by-course NACES evaluation of all undergraduate transcripts is mandatory.
• SAT – 420 (Critical Reading)
• ACT – 16 (on English Section)

LIU Post Graduate Admissions

LIU Post offers graduate degrees in Accounting, Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Data Analytics, International Business, Management Engineering, Marketing to students from all across the country, and the world. Students applying for the programs must have a general and minimum GPA of 2.92 GPA. Eligible candidates must have completed their bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.

Application Fee: 50 USD

Admission Requirements:

Candidates applying for graduate courses at Metropolitan State University must meet the set requirements as mentioned for each course. Here is a detailed list of admission requirements for different courses. GMAT and GRE scores will be required for admission to M.S. in Accountancy, all teaching programs, M.A. in Behavior Analysis, and MBA.

Master of Business Administration

• Official Transcripts with English translation if the documents are in other languages other than English.
• GMAT Score of 400
• GRE in the scale of 130 -170
• LSAT – minimum score of 141
• Minimum GPA between 2.5 - 2.74
• Two professional or academic letters of recommendation on company letterhead
• Personal Statement addressing the reason for pursuing graduate study
• Updated Resume
• English Proficiency Scores: TOEFL iBT – 85, TOEFL CBT – 213, TOEFL PBT – 550, IELTS – 7.0
• Professional CV/ Resume for work experience
• Two letters of recommendation

The LIU Post university follows a transparent application process on a rolling basis. Candidates are thus recommended to apply for the programs before the deadline to avoid any delay in admission.

While there is no application fee, applicants must submit standardized test scores of SAT or ACT in addition to proving their English Language skills by taking the TOEFL or IELTS test. The scores must be sent directly from the testing agency to the university.

The application process is conducted online and selected students will be notified within two weeks of review through email. The application is reviewed once all the documents have been received by the Admission Processing center. The notification is mostly made through the mail. On being selected the students can apply to submit the tuition fees to save the seat.
