Hillsdale College was founded in the year 1844 in rural southern Michigan. The college is known for its academic excellence and institutional independence. This liberal arts college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and offers a four-year curriculum in Bachelor of Arts and science. 

Hillsdale College offers admissions in Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, MA and PhD. The various majors offered at the university are in accounting, mathematics, arts, biochemistry, physics, politics, sport management, theatre and various other fields. It encourages and nurtures the intellectual, social, physical, and personal growth of the students. Students here get the opportunity for off-campus internships, abroad study programs, and adjunct seminars. However, the college does not accept federal or state taxpayer subsidies for any purpose. Hillsdale believes in preserving the blessings of civil and religious liberty by promoting “the diffusion of sound learning”.
