Campus

The institute was established in the year 1842 but the current main campus buildings were constructed in 1892 and 1896. Cumberland University’s 44-acre campus is on the smaller side but houses multiple buildings.

The institute has over 30 plus buildings including academic buildings, residence halls, administrative and sports facilities. Over 21% of the total student enrollment lived on campus for the academic year.

There are over 13 student services offices on campus each servicing a range of student issues ranging from counselling, residence issues, IT support etc.

Housing facilities/Residence

  • Residential facilities include 5 residence halls and Greek housing at Cumberland University.
  • The Howell E. Jackson Hall, Horace H Lurton Hall and the South Hall are meant for students in the second year and above.
