With a building having more than 11 storeys, Loma Linda University parents 8 medical schools in different specializations.

  • The foundation for the Sanitarium of Loma Linda, California was laid on August 26, 1905.
  • The Medical Center at Loma Linda University Campus was opened for studies on July 9, 1967. The Medical Center admits the largest number of inpatients in the region. It also holds the record for the largest outpatient surgeries which is 50,000.

Loma Linda Application Process

The University offers admissions on a rolling basis till the availability of seat permits. While some of the programs have specific deadlines, they are not strictly followed and applicants can apply for admission at Loma Linda University if seats are available.

Admission Process

Loma Linda University is a seven-day Adventist university in California, offering a plethora of programs, and primarily specialising in health sciences education. In the academic year, 4462 students enrolled in Loma Linda University, with 8.9% of the student population being international students. Loma Linda University International Student Admissions

Loma Linda University accepts international applications, provided that the applicants fulfil all admission criteria, send the official transcripts, proof of completion, LORs, test scores and English Proficiency scores. The issuing institution must directly send all the required transcripts.

Application Portal: Students must apply online through the CAS Application, Direct Application Process, or the Non-Degree Application Process, which is available at the college website.

English Proficiency Test Score for International Students

International applicants are required to present TOEFL, IELTS, PTE Academic, Duo Lingo English Test or iTEP Academic-Plus test scores to demonstrate English proficiency. The minimum required scores by the university are:

Visa Process for International Students

After the acceptance letter is issued, the University sends a copy of the letter to the ISSS, which then sends a mail with a financial estimate and other information.

The Certificate of Finance and Acknowledgement Forms have to be filled, along with proof of financial funding.

Students must also pay an advanced refundable deposit, that will be mentioned in the Certificate of Deposit. After that, the ISSS shall issue the I-20 form, and the student may begin the F1 student visa application process.

The I-20 form can be obtained via FedEx, once the admissions process is completed.
