Students who are applying for graduate programs are required to have a minimum GPA score of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (75%), however, the preferable score is 3.0 (85%). MBA applicants must have a GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale (81%), and undergraduate applicants must have a score of 3.0. Graduate programs no longer require GRE and GMAT test scores.

Similarly, undergraduate programs don’t ask for SAT and ACT scores. International students, however, are required to submit their IELTS and TOEFL iBT tests, with minimum scores ranging between 5.5–6.0 and 61–80 respectively. The admissions committee at CSULB also takes into consideration the students’ personal statements and letters of recommendation in the process.
