University of Nebraska, Omaha Undergraduate Admissions

University of Nebraska offers a total of 103 undergraduate courses including courses in Engineering, Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Communication, Fine Arts and Media, Public Affairs and Community services, Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, Education and Information Science & Technology. 

Applicants are required to submit their applications for admissions along with the application fee prior to the deadline if their applications are to be considered for admissions in the University.

After the submission of application and payment of application fee, candidates are required to submit authentic documents specified by the University.

Admission Requirements:

• Final official high school transcript or Official GED (General Education Diploma) Equivalent score
• Academic requirements
  • Ranked in the upper one-half of the high school class.
  • Or ACT composite score of 20 or higher (not including writing section) or SAT equivalent score.
• Official ACT or SAT scores
• Official transcript from college credit earned during high school
• Additionally, undergraduate applicants have to submit the following documents during admission procedure.
  • Official high school/college transcripts sent directly from the educational institute
  • ACT or SAT scores – preferred score for ACT is between 19 and 26 (ACT code is 2464, SAT code is 6420)
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency (for international applicants)
• 16 core course required in high school (for home-schooled students or students passed from regionally –authorized high school):
  • English (4 units)
  • Mathematics (3 units)
  • Social sciences (3 units)
  • Natural Sciences (3 units)
  • Foreign Language (2 units in same language)
  • Additional Requirements (1 unit from any of the above-specified disciplines)
• ACT or SAT English score (for all students)
• English Proficiency exam Score (for those students whose native language is not English)

NOTE: All the above-required documents are needed to be directly sent to the University’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions from the concerned authority/Institution. Hand-carried or student submitted documents are not accepted by the University.

University of Nebraska, Omaha Graduate Admissions

The University offers over 70 graduate programs in the fields of Accounting, Business Administration, Communication, Biology, IT Innovation, Public Administration and so on. The admission process for various graduate programs is commonly subject to some specific requirements of specific courses.

Application Portal: Candidates must complete their application through an online portal prior to the deadline.

Application Fee: 50 USD

After the submission of online application and payment for the application fees, applicants are required to submit specified required documents for specific programs.

Document requirements common to all programs:

• Official course-by-course transcript evaluation
• Exam scores
• Completed financial affidavit (for international students)

NOTE: International transcripts require evaluation from World Education Service (WES), Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE), or Educational Perspectives.
