US Visa Process for International students
International applicants must apply well in advance and complete all formalities, to obtain an F-1 student visa, while also submitting all essential documents. The applicants have to submit the following documents complete the Visa Procedure;

The following steps are to be followed in order to complete the entire procedure.
- Once the admission offer is received, the student has to follow the link to the Student Information Form.
- This document must be duly filled to obtain the I-20 or DS certificate from the Office of International Education at Carnegie Mellon.
- All the additional and necessary documents with financial records must be sent to OIE directly. Further, the applicant will be notified when the I-20 is ready.
- The I-20 documents have to be submitted by the deadline provided stated in the admission letter in order to have sufficient time to be able to schedule a Visa Interview.
- Any applicants sponsored by an outside organization, such as Fulbright, must have their documents processed by their sponsor.
