Admission Process

Augustana University admissions are offered on a rolling basis for undergraduate, graduate as well as international students. During fall 2018, the total enrolment in the university was 2,080 with an undergraduate enrolment of 1,749 and a graduate enrolment of 331. The university accepted 65% of the applications during the same period. 2,201 candidates applied to the university out of which 457 students enrolled.

  • The first offer of admissions is granted by the university on 1st October.
  • The university accepts undergraduate admission application through Common Application.
  • Admissions are also granted by the university on a conditional basis.
  • Transfer students must apply at least one term prior to desired enrolment date.
  • SAT/ACT must be sent directly to the university using codes.
  • ELS program is provided by the university in case of low test scores.

Augustana University International Admissions

Augustana University is home to more than 150 international students coming from across the world. The university allows international admission on a rolling basis starting from October 1st to July 31st. International students who apply prior to 1st March will have an advantage in obtaining scholarships. University also accepts applications a year in advance of the term they are planning to enroll. The application process must be completed two months in advance.

Augustana University Graduate Admissions

The university offers 6 graduate courses to the students. The standard application fee charged by the university from applicants seeking graduate admissions is 60 USD. Admission requirements for each graduate course may vary. Minimum GPA requirement to enroll for the graduate program is 3.0. Lower GPA may be accepted for a few courses. Applicants are required to give an interview while applying for Master of Science in Athletic Training. Some courses may also require work experience.

Graduate students must make sure they file an application to the Office of Graduate Education.
