The Georgia Southern University comprises of 3 campuses which are discussed as follows:

  1. Armstrong Campus – It is situated in Savannah. The campus is spread in 268 acres and provides housing to more than 6500 students.

Scholarships/Financial Aid

The financial support provided by the institute is of four types such as Grants, Loans, Work-Study and scholarships for international students to study in the USA. Georgia Southern University Visa requirements

International students applying to Georgia Southern University will need an F-1 visa. For the F-1 Visa students must collect Form I-20 from the University.

Documents required for the Visa process

To obtain the F-1 Visa(non-immigration), following documents are necessary:

  • I-20 request form.

  • International transcripts must be evaluated course by course including a GPA by NACES.
  • All the grades mentioned with the Bachelor’s degree are on a scale of 4.0 .
  • Deadlines for all the graduate courses are common except the ones mentioned in the above table.
  • If applicable, MBA students may have to present all the official documents towards the end of first semester.

*Additional:

  1. Applied Economics- courses completed in calculus, statistics, and intermediate micro and macro economics with minimum grade C and GPA 3.0 in each course.
  2. Computer Science- International students with U.S Graduate degree can waive off English Language test.

The course also provides provisional admission to students who have no programming background but fulfill almost all requirements of the admission.
