Residence

Goldey-Beacom College allows students to live on-campus or off-campus depending on the students’ preference. However, the on-campus residence is based on certain eligibility status which a student should attain coupled with the compliance to certain rules and regulations governing life on campus.

To be eligible for on-campus residency, a student is required to maintain satisfactory academic standards defined by the college. Any student whose performance at the end of the academic year is below the accepted standard will not be permitted to reside on campus in the subsequent year. Ques. Can I use a payment plan to pay my college expenses?

Ans. GBC provides two payment plans to assist a candidate to pay for tuition, fees, and residence halls charges.

  • The first option is the Semester Payment Plan where fees are divided into equal installments per semester.
  • The second option is the Annual Payment Plan where the fees for the entire year are divided into 9 monthly installments.

Ques. What payment methods do you accept for payment?

Ans. A candidate can pay using cheque, traveler’s cheque, cashier’s cheque, cash, wire, or credit card (MasterCard, VISA, Discover/NOVUS, or American Express. Payments are accepted through the mail, in person, and via campus with Campus Web. Also, wire payment to College’s bank account & non-cash payment to dropbox at Fulmer Centre is available.

Ques. I have outside scholarships. Can I deduct them from the balance I owe the College?

Ans. Yes, a candidate can deduct the outside scholarships from the balance. But he/she has to provide the Business Office with a copy of the scholarship letter.
