Replacement Tenant Accepted

This property allows cancellation upon finding replacement tenant.
  • Up to and including 45 days before the tenancy start date, tenants may cancel their booking, subject to a reasonable administration charge.
  • Within 45 days before the tenancy start date, cancellation is permitted only if a suitable replacement tenant is found.
  • The replacement tenant may be found by either the tenant or the property.
  • If the property is responsible for finding the replacement tenant, it will only begin doing so after all other available rooms have been let.
  • If no suitable replacement tenant is found, the tenant remains liable for the full rent, even if they do not move into the property.
  • For early termination after moving in, rent remains payable until a replacement tenant takes over the tenancy.

Note: If the property has a waiting list, students may not be required to find a replacement tenant themselves.
