About PGDAV College (Evening)

The Pannalal Girdharlal Dayanand Anglo Vedic Evening College (PGDAV) is one of the oldest and affiliated colleges of Delhi University.The College has a well developed and experienced faculty for teaching regular and honours undergraduate courses in different specializations such as Political Science, Hindi, Sanskrit, Mathematics etc. The meritorious students are offered multiple scholarships and fees concessions after the enrolment in the courses offered by the college. The admission to UG courses is carried out on the basis of the candidate’s performance in CUET. After qualifying in the entrance exam, candidates have to appear in the centralized DU CSAS process for seat allocation.

The college has an urban campus that includes facilities of library, playground, health-care, bank and canteen.The college organises a cultural festival every year in which various competitions related to dance, debate, singing, street plays are placed and ends its annual session celebrating annual day in which meritorious students are honoured with the prizes for their excellence in studies and sports. Besides this, the college also offers extra curricular activities like National Cadets Corps (NCC) and National Service Scheme (NSS) training for making students develop their overall personality.

PGDAV College (Evening) Admission

PGDAV Evening College admission to the UG courses is based on scores obtained in the CUET examination. The admission process includes appearing for the entrance exam, and then appearing in the CSAS seat allotment—registrations for admission start after CUET result declarations. Candidates must select Delhi University while filling out the CUET application can register themselves on the DU CSAS portal and choose their college and course preferences. Step 1: Appear for the Entrance Examination

Seats are allocated based on scores obtained in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) or other national-level tests, combination of college and program chosen, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.

Step 4: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission

Candidates can check the seat allotment result by logging into Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) dashboard. Upon acceptance of the seat, the college will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the admission fees.
