About Christ College

Christ College, Jagdalpur was established in 2001. It is a self-financing religious minority institution for higher education. It is affiliated to Bastar Vishwavidyalaya, Jagdalpur. The college has been managed by Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), Nirmal Province, Jagdalpur with a view to blend sacred and secular education. Since the College is located at Jagdalpur, which is a semi-urban city surrounded by lots of people belonging to ST, SC and OBC class, management always welcome and encourage them to join the college, to brighten their future and to empower them to withstand the pressures of modern life and to face the demands of the time confidently, and courageously.

NSS - The various activities performed by the NSS unit of the college are - environment conservation programme, village adoption programme, volunteering welfare and social development institution, medical and blood donation camp, health, nutrition, family welfare, AIDS awareness campaigns etc.
