Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and applied nutrition, popularly known by the name Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) was established in 1998 in the Hajipur district of Bihar. This autonomous Institute comes under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The Institute is Affiliated to IGNOU, New Delhi and provides a 3 year B.Sc degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, through Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). IHM Hajipur Admission 2024
Admission in BSc is taken through NCHMCT JEE. It is a national level exam taken by the National Testing Agency (NTA) every year. Students are alloted seats on the basis of cut off of All India Ranks and after proper counselling.
To get admission in any of the diploma courses candidates will have to give an entrance test. It is a MCQ based written test taken by the college itself. Results are out at the college official website. It publishes a merit list for selected candidates and a waiting list which may get selected further.
How to apply for Bsc?
- Register at the official website of NCHMCT.
- After registration candidates will get an unique application number and password.
- Log in to your account with the generated password.
- Now start filling your application form.
- Upload your and your signature scanned photographs and fill all the details asked to. Enter all your personal details carefully.
- Now after completing the application form pay the money via net banking, credit/debit card or any available online option.
- Take the print out of the application form for future reference.

How to apply for Diploma?
- Go to the campus, visit the admin office or student's corner during office hours.
- Enquire about the course and then place your request for the application form.
- Now carefully fill the details in the application form and complete it.
- Submit it before the last date.

ST/SC - 100 Rs
- Students outside the district/state can get the application form via courier. They will have to pay 50 Rs extra. At the time of submission you can send it with a demand draft in the name of Secretary, Institute of Hotel Management, Hajipur, payable at Hajipur, District Vaishali (Bihar).
