International Institute of Hotel Management Pune, commonly known as the IIHM Pune, was established in 1994. The institute was ranked 71 by India Today Ranking 2024 and ranked 68 by IIRF Ranking 2023, among the top hotel management institutes in India. 

IIHM Pune offers 2 undergraduate degrees in different courses and one advanced diploma program. Admission to the college is done via the e-Chat test and the candidate should have passed HSC exams to be eligible for the test. The overall marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam, Group discussion, and Personal Interview decides the final selection of the candidate. IIHM is the Founding Institutional member of the (IHC) International Hospitality Council, London. The institute offers an alternative to complete BA (Hospitality Management) from the University of West London, UK (London). Bachelor in Tourism Studies is awarded from IGNOU, India and students also have a choice of undergoing short courses of 3 months to 1 year in various Hospitality Skills. Furthermore, IIHM students also have the option of completing their final year in the UK, Switzerland, Germany or Canada, after completing and performing well in the first two years in India.

• Entrepreneurship Cell: IIHM has an Entrepreneurship cell called 'SAHAS' for supporting the students to start their own businesses and start-ups. IIHM became the first institute of Hospitality in India to successfully organize a Hackathon to initiate, promote and foster incubation of business ideas amongst hospitality students.

IIHM Pune Admission 2024

Candidates seeking admission into the college can apply for it online or offline. The candidate must be below the age of 22 years while applying for IIHM Pune admission and needs to appear for the entrance test conducted by the college called eChat. This consists of General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and English language-based questions. The admission process includes the following stages:

• The admission into the IIHM Pune courses are based on Electronic Common Hospitality Aptitude Test (e-CHAT) exam conducted by the IIHM. 
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion followed by Personal Interview.
• The final admission will be based on the overall performance of the candidate in entrance exam and personal interview.

• After this, the results are announced of the rounds appeared for and the final selection is made. A Selection letter with respect to the same will be received by the candidate.
