About Shivaji College
Shivaji College is a co-educational college affiliated with the University of Delhi. It offers 20 UG courses under different faculties of Science, Commerce and Humanities. The college also offers one self-financing course in Bachelor of Business Economics (BBE), three PG courses and one add-on Language course (German). Admission to UG courses is based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) and for admission to PG courses, candidates are required to appear for the CUET PG. Then, they have to register for the DU CSAS seat allotment process as well.
Established in 1961 by Hon’ble Union Minister of Agriculture Shri Panjabrao Deshmukh Shivaji College focuses on promoting gender equality ideals and community service activities. The college has been accredited with Grade ‘A’ by NAAC and ranked 42 for Arts and 35 for Science by India Today 2024.
The faculty members and administrative staff are in a continuous strive to provide holistic support to the students through their guidance and experience. The faculty members are highly educated and experienced in their respective fields. Few of the senior faculty members even supervise DU registered Ph.D scholars.
Shivaji College which is spread across an extensive area of 10 acres of land is known for its herbal garden, lush green lawns and large playgrounds. The college campus has adopted various environment-friendly practices like, ban on plastic, ban on smoking, no vehicle entry and plantation of trees to lower carbon print on the campus. Shivaji College Admission Process 2024
Shivaji College admission to the UG and PG courses is based on scores obtained in the CUET examination. The college admission process includes appearing for the CUET examination and then appearing in the CSAS seat allotment. Registrations for admission at the college start after CUET result declarations.
