Here are the steps to apply for VHNSNC Admission 2024.

Step 1: Visit the official website
Step 2: Click on the tab “Academics, followed by “Admission” then “Online Application”
Step 3: This will redirect you to the Admission portal of the institute

Reservation Criteria for Admissions 2024

The admission shall be made purely based on Merit subject to the rule of reservation of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

31% for Open Competition (OC).
30% for Backward Classes (BC) within this 3.5% is earmarked for Muslims.
20% for Most Backward Classes (MBC) and Denotified Communities (DNC).
In the 18% for Scheduled Castes (SC),, 3% of seats offered to Arunthathiyars (with the seats reserved for SC).
1% for Scheduled Tribes (ST).

The rule of the reservation will apply to:

100% of seats in Government Colleges.
50% of seats in the case of Aided minority colleges.
90% of seats in the cases of Aided Non-minority colleges.
50% of seats in the cases of Unaided Private (Self-financing) colleges.
50% of seats in the Unaided (Self-financing) courses offered by the Aided Colleges.
In respect of both Aided Courses and Unaided Courses in Minority Colleges, 50% of seats shall be filled by students belonging to the minority concerned and the balance 50% of the seats shall be filled by following the rule of reservation.

Library: The institute has a spacious library containing more than a lakh books and 170 periodicals. Apart from the general library, each department of the college is having a departmental library with an excellent collection of books concerning a particular department.
Hostel: The college has a comfortable accommodation facility for the students hailing from long distance. Each floor of the hostel has separate bathroom and toilet facilities. Separate reading room is available for the students for a peaceful studying environment.
Canteen: The college has a fully furnished cafeteria where hygienic foods are made available for the students. Separate cubicles are allotted for boys, girls and teachers.
Computer Lab: The college has a web-equipped computer laboratory with latest technologies. There are a total of 563 computers available for the students. Moreover, there are eight high-end IBM servers to cater to all the Windows-based workstations, and one for UNIX-based workstation and another one for Novell-based workstation.
Swimming pool: The college has a racing pool with 25 metres of length. A swimming coach has been appointed to train the students. Separate timings are provided for boys and girls. Only a very few colleges across the country have this facility and VHNSN is one of such colleges.
