ACT Chennai Admission

The admissions to the UG and PG courses at Alagappa College of Technology are entrance-based. The selection criteria for the courses are mentioned below:

UG Admission: Admission to B.Tech. courses are purely based on marks obtained in the Higher secondary examination. The admission is done through a single-window system conducted by Anna University. Candidates need to register for TNEA. Merit lists/Ranks are prepared on the basis of 10+2 marks and then counselling is conducted based upon the ranking.
PG Admission: Candidates must have a valid GATE score or a recent TANCET score. Ranks Lists will be released based upon the GATE/TANCET score. Then counselling is done based upon this ranking.

Laboratories- Bioprocess Lab, Immunology Lab, Animal Cell Culture Lab etc. are available in the institute.
