DJ College of Dental Sciences and Research Facilities

The lush-green campus of DJ College of Dental Sciences and Research is self-sufficient with all required facilities. It is located on a huge area of 8 acres of land. Apart from offering excellent education, and research opportunities to young minds, community service programs are arranged by the college from time to time. A conducive teaching-learning ambiance has been developed for the benefit of students and faculty members. The college’s building has more than 1, 20,000 sq. ft of the constructed area.

Hi-Tech Lecture Halls: There are spacious, highly ventilated, and well-developed classrooms on the college campus. All the lecture halls are resourced with amenities such as projectors, sound systems, microphones, and comfortable seating arrangements. Further, the availability of the Internet allows teachers to deliver course content using innovative pedagogies, PPTs, pre-recorded videos, etc.

Library: The college has a fully automated, and air-conditioned Knowledge Center cum Library on its campus. It has a good collection of textbooks, reference books, and an adequate number of International / National Journals, Newspapers, and Magazines. Students can also come here and access various electronic resources like E-Journals, E-Books, and E-Question Papers. The library has a seating capacity of 133 individuals and CCTV cameras are installed here for surveillance. The timing of book issues and return in the library is from 9 AM to 8 PM from Monday to Saturday. Circulation Service, Reference Service, Printing and Reprographic / Scanning Service, OPAC Service, and Question Bank facility are available in the Library to support the academic and research work of students and staff members.

All the operations of the Library are managed by the ‘Alice for Windows’ software. There is a separate reading room for faculty and students. The DJ College of Dental Sciences & Research Library has subscribed to “EBSCO Dentistry & Oral Science” and “Dental Mammoth” online databases for comprehensive clinical evidence-based dentistry. DCI E-Library facilities are also offered by the college to all users. Using this facility, individuals can easily access 110 full-text journals, 370 books, and last 10 years question papers.

Auditorium: This facility is there on the college premises for events such as seminars, conferences, webinars, co-curricular activities, and guest lectures by inviting renowned professionals and leaders. The auditorium is equipped with comfortable seating arrangements, audio-video devices, projectors, and a public address system.

Sports: DJ College of Dental Sciences and Research has developed enough indoor infrastructure and multi-purpose ground for various indoor and outdoor sports and games such as Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Cricket, Table Tennis, Cricket, Carrom, Table Tennis, Chess, Badminton, etc. Gymnasium and Yoga centers are also available on the campus.

Hostels: The college offers separate accommodation facilities to both girls and boys to ensure they receive a home-like environment for students away from their homes. Both the Girl's and Boy’s hostels are located on the same campus that offers boarding and lodging to the BDS and MDS students. Students can avail of spacious, shared, and clean rooms by paying affordable prices. Facilities that students get in these hostels are rooms with a bed, mattress, table, chair, Almira, a fan, a tube light, proper electrical sockets, and common refrigerators and coolers.

Apart from this, 24*7 electricity, drinking water, washrooms with hot water supply (geysers), laundry and dry cleaning facilities, Wi-Fi connectivity, evening library, and ATM facilities followed by medical support are available here. There is also a separate mess for both boys and girls in their hostels. Hospital: A Medical Hospital has been built on the college campus to provide necessary medical support, assistance, and guidance to students and staff members, and residents of Ghaziabad in need. A dedicated team of sincere, and hard-working doctors and paramedical personnel work here to fulfill the objective of the college.

The hospital has state-of-the-art technology, with round-the-clock patient care in 100 beds spread over a dozen branches of health care. Departments such as General Medicine, General Surgery, Dental Surgery, Gynecology & Obstetrics, Paediatrics, ENT, Orthopedics, Radiology, Clinical Pathology, Histopathology, Hematology, Microbiology, and Pharmacology are available in the hospital.
