About Manipal College of Dental Sciences - [MCODS]

Manipal College of Dental Sciences (MCODS), Manipal, is the first self-financing private dental college in India established in 1965. It was formerly known as the College of Dental Surgery. MCODS Manipal comes under the aegis of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). The college is recognized by the Malaysian Dental Council and Kathmandu University (Nepal). It has been ranked 5^th and 2^nd best dental college by India Today Ranking 2024 and NIRF Ranking 2024, respectively.

MCODS Manipal offers popular dental programs like Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) with different specializations. MCODS Manipal Admission 2024

MCODS Manipal Admission to UG and PG courses is based on merit list and score in the entrance examination. Before applying for the course, the candidate must have cleared NEET UG and NEET MDS for the MDS program. Admission to BDS programs requires registration and participation in the Centralized NEET UG Counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

MCODS Manipal MDS Admission requires participation in All India Quota and State Quota counselling sessions.
KEA conducts counselling for the State Quota, while MCC is responsible for organizing counselling for the All India Quota.
Admission to certification program is based on merit list of the last qualifying examination.
