About Maulana Azad National Urdu University - [MANUU]

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established in 1998 by an Act of Parliament. MANUU campus and administrative offices are situated on 200 acres in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Telangana State. Currently, MANUU provides 97 programs in both regular and distance modes. Additionally, it provides vocational education through Industrial Training Institutes (08 Certificate Trades). MANUU offers a flexible academic framework via a Choice Based Credit System and routinely updates the course offerings of its programs. MANUU is present in 13 States across India. MANUU offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral level programs in various disciplines. MANUU Admission to UG programs is based on scores of the entrance exam conducted by the University or CUET UG scores. Admission to PG programs is based on Merit in the qualifying exam or on scores of the Entrance exam conducted by MANUU. However, the University also accepts AICTE Entrance Test and NCTE Entrance Test scores for MBA/MCA/BTech Lateral Entry and B.Ed/M.Ed programs respectively. MANUU Admission

MANUU offers UG, PG, and Ph.D. level programs in various disciplines. Admission to UG programs is based on the scores of the CUET UG exam or MANUU Entrance exam scores. MANUU PG Admissions are based on scores of the Entrance exam conducted by MANUU or Merit in the qualifying exam. However, MANUU also accepts AICTE Entrance Test and NCTE Entrance Test scores for MBA/MCA/BTech Lateral Entry and B.Ed/M.Ed programs respectively. MANUU PhD Admission is based on the entrance exam and Interview conducted by the University. MANUU Admission is conducted online for all the different courses. The Application process for the same has been mentioned below:

MANUU Application Process:

Visit the official website of the University.
Click on the Admission tab on the top right of the webpage.
Select the desired option from the drop-down list of admission tab.
Click on the ‘Register’ option.
While registering, fill in all the relevant details.
After filling in all the details, a confirmation mail will be sent to the registered email id informing about the Registration Id and Password.
Now Login using your Registration Id and Password. Complete all the steps of filling out the application form.
Pay the application fees using a Credit/Debit card or net banking option.
Submit the Application form.

Note: For Entrance Test based courses students will be required to download the admit card and appear for the entrance exam on the desired date and time. Failing to do so may lead to the cancellation of the application.

MANUU Results

MANUU results are released on the university website within a month after the End semester exams are over. Following are the steps to check MANUU results:

Visit the official website of the university.
Click on “Results” on the website’s homepage.
After clicking, the candidate will be redirected to the Results page where a list of recently updated results will be enlisted.
Candidates can click on the particular course’s exam for which they have appeared and check their results.
Candidates need to enter their details like examination Roll no., Date of Birth, etc.
Upon clicking the submit button, the candidate can see the result appearing on the screen

MANUU Scholarships

MANUU offers Government Scholarships to needy students who have great academic records. Students may apply for scholarships provided by Departments/Ministries of the Government of India through the official portals. Some of the MANUU Scholarships are listed below:

Merit Cum Means Scholarship For Professional and Technical Courses CS

This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to poor and meritorious students belonging to minority communities to enable them to pursue professional and technical courses.

Eligibility: Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardians from all sources is at most INR 2.50 LPA.

Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students

This scholarship provides financial assistance to meritorious students from poor families to meet a part of their day-to-day expenses while pursuing higher studies.

Eligibility:

Students who have scored above the 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream from the recognized Board of Examination in Class XII of 10+2 pattern or equivalent.
Applicants should be pursuing regular degree courses and not correspondence or distance mode or pursuing Diploma courses.
Applicants should pursue courses at colleges/institutions recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education and the respective Regulatory Bodies concerned.
Not availing the benefit of any other scholarship schemes including State-run scholarship schemes/ fee waiver & reimbursement schemes.
Students with gross parental/family income up to INR 4.5 LPA are eligible for scholarships under the scheme.

MANUU Fellowship

The University provides the UGC Non-NET Fellowship of INR 8000/- p.m. for regular Ph.D. Research Scholars.

Eligibility: Scholars who have 75% attendance and abide by the rules/regulations of the MANUU. All financial assistance will depend on the UGC and University rules and the availability of funds.
